Eddie Cocozza
Eddie Cocozza joined Wigan 10 in 2019.
About: I bought my first SLR in ’89 and built a darkroom in my loft, left photography again in ’95 and returned in 2011 when I bought my first DSLR and joined a camera club. That was when I learned the difference between a snapshot and a photograph.
Hobbies: After moving on from football, karate and scuba diving I found my way in to the quiet and sedate world of photography.
History: Since joining club photography I found my ambitions growing and I wanted to better my images so I started to look at what other people were producing. In 2012 I was introduced to several members of Wigan 10 Foto Club, that was when I discovered Composite Images and what could be done in Photoshop, but not how it was done, needless to say I wanted to try it, my early attempts were like cardboard cut outs but I persevered and pestered a lot of people to help me, now I feel that I am getting there although I‘m still not really sure where “there” is yet.
What Eddie has to say: I don’t strive to be a better photographer than anyone else, just to be a better photographer than I was last year.
