Suzannah Jordan joined Wigan 10 in 2024.

About:
As a young teenager, Suzannah purchased disposable cameras to record thing she could paint later, at 18 she became a BSAC scuba diver and enjoyed using Fujifilm waterproof for underwater photography.  An uncle gave her a Zenith in 1989 which is when her photography progressed however, life soon became busy with children and career so; it became difficult to find the time for a hobby. In 2008 ‘Father Christmas’ put a Panasonic Lumix under the Christmas tree and that is when she regained the passion for photography.  She soon outgrew the Lumix, replaced it with a Nikon D750 and in 2022 exchanged to Sony mirrorless.

Hobbies: Having taken early retirement and a passion for travel it allows Suzannah to learn about diverse cultures and spend more time on her photography which is always a learning experience and forever evolving.

History: She joined Southampton Camera Club in 2016 and that is when the fun, learning and challenge really started to happen. She took on the role of external competition secretary, made costumes, props and creative face make up for workshops, helped in the running of their international, and was President for 2 years.

What Suzannah has to say: A hobby keeps the mind active, gives a wonderful opportunity to meet and make likeminded friends and a sense of achievement.
