Today a small group of us Robert,Damo,Steve and Paul headed for the Manchester streets for some street photography. The vibrant street art backdrops of the Northern Quarter provided the ideal setting for some interesting shots. Plenty of opportunity to practise different street techniques. At times the pace was fast and furious, with the occasional stop loitering on a street corner waiting for the right character to appear. I don’t know what the technical term is for a group of loitering photographers …maybe ” a nuisance “. We also met Manchester royalty “Happy Alan” dressed in Vivian Westwood gear. An air of sadness as we passed through St Ann’s Square – the Manchester bomb tribute then on to China town and the central squares. Great weather, some good laughs and lots of photographic opportunities …what more can you ask for?…
