In February I packed my camera bag and headed of to Venice to photograph the annual Carnival. It is a splendid sight with the most fantastic outfits on display and there are hundreds of them. The people who dress up are happy to pose and the trick is to be in and around St Mark’s Square at 07:30 in the morning when the light is good and the tourists are still in bed. This is a feast for photographers and sometimes a fight with photographers……lol Well worth going and I would recommend that you all head out there at least once. Venice itself is a fascinating city too and Italian food is soooo hard to beat. By Robert Millin.
